Chrome rod made of SAE1045, S45C, C45E, 20MnV6 and 38MnVS6 steel is designed for high-performance applications requiring precision and durability. As leading hard chrome plated rod suppliers, we provide chrome rods with external diameter accuracy of f7 f8 and a maximum surface roughness of Ra0.2μm, ensuring superior performance. The hard chrome thickness is a minimum of 15μm for diameters below Φ22.225mm and 20μm for diameters of Φ24mm and above. With a minimum surface hardness of HV850, our chrome rods offer excellent wear resistance. Straightness is maintained at a maximum of 0.25/1000mm for diameters under Φ20mm and 0.2/1000mm for larger sizes. Roundness tolerance is controlled at half the specification, ensuring a precise fit. Available in standard lengths from 3M to 6M and sizes from Φ6 to Φ255mm (Φ1/4” to Φ10”), these rods are tested for corrosion resistance under ISO 9227 NSS standards, achieving R9 ratings at 72hr for Φ<20mm and 120hr for Φ≥20mm. NSS and CASS testing is conducted in our in-house laboratory for guaranteed quality.
