Hydraulic Piston Rod Manufacturing Process, Hydraulic Shaft Manufacturing Process, Chrome Rod Manufacturing Process

Hydraulic piston rod manufacturing process:

Hard chrome treatment improves the hydraulic piston rod manufacturing process, enhancing durability and performance. As a leading chrome hydraulic cylinder rod supplier, we implement a meticulous production process to ensure top-quality products.

Precision-Driven Manufacturing Process:
The production of high-quality piston rods follows a precision-driven process to ensure optimal strength, straightness, and surface finish for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.

  1. Raw Material Inspection –Each rod is crafted from high-quality steel grades, including DIN CK45, ASTM 1045, 20MnV6, and 38MnVS6, ensuring superior strength, durability and dimensional accuracy before processing.
  2. Peeling, Straightening and Rectification – The outer layer of the hydraulic piston rod is peeled to remove surface imperfections, followed by straightening to achieve the required dimensional accuracy and uniform structure.
  3. Precision Grinding – The rod is ground to strict diameter tolerances, ensuring high precision, improved roundness, and reduced surface roughness for superior performance.
  4. Polishing – The rod surface is polished to a fine finish, further enhancing surface smoothness and preparing it for the chrome plating process.
  5. Hard Chrome Plating – A uniform layer of hard chrome (15-20μm minimum thickness) is applied to the rod surface, increasing wear resistance, reducing friction, and providing excellent corrosion protection.
  6. Final Polishing – After chrome plating, the hydraulic piston rod undergoes a final polishing process to achieve maximum surface smoothness (Ra ≤ 0.2μm), ensuring superior sealing and extended service life.
  7. Final Inspection – Each hydraulic piston rod is meticulously tested for straightness, roundness, surface hardness (HV 850+), and chrome thickness, meeting industry standards and customer specifications.
  8. Packing –The hydraulic piston rods are carefully packaged in red and white striped paper tubes to prevent surface damage during transportation and handling, ensuring they reach customers in perfect condition.
  9. Shipment – The finished piston rods are shipped to customers worldwide, ready for installation in hydraulic and pneumatic systems across various industries.

This high-precision hydraulic piston rods manufacturing process guarantees exceptional durability, high load capacity, and superior performance, making our piston rods the ideal choice for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

Performance of Corrosion Resistance

Our hydraulic piston rods undergo extensive corrosion resistance testing in both our in-house salt spray laboratory and Taiwan Metal Industries Research & Development Centre. The testing period reaches up to 1000 hours and is rated as 10, ensuring superior protection against wear and oxidation.

By optimizing the hydraulic piston rod manufacturing process, we guarantee precision-engineered rods with exceptional performance, making them ideal for hydraulic cylinders and industrial machinery.

Cylinder Tube Manufacturing Process, Hydraulic Pipe Tubing Manufacturing Process

Hydraulic cylinder tube manufacturing process:

Hydraulic cylinder tube precision honing ensures a smooth inner surface, enhancing the performance and longevity of hydraulic systems. As trusted honed tubing suppliers, we adhere to a strict manufacturing process to deliver high-precision hydraulic cylinder tubes that meet industry standards.

  1. Raw Material Inspection – Only premium-quality steel, including EN 1.0580, E355, JIS STKM13C, DIN ST52, SAE1020 is selected to ensure durability, consistency, and superior mechanical properties before processing.
  2. Honing or Skiving and Roller Burnishing – The inner surface of the hydraulic cylinder tube is processed using either honing or skiving and roller burnishing, ensuring high precision, smoothness, and durability. Honing gradually removes material with abrasive stones, achieving superior dimensional accuracy and uniform surface quality, while skiving and roller burnishing combines precision cutting and cold working to produce a denser, ultra-smooth finish (Ra ≤ 0.4μm). These advanced finishing techniques enhance sealing performance, reduce friction, and extend the lifespan of hydraulic cylinder tubes, making them ideal for high-performance hydraulic applications.
  3. Final Inspection – Each hydraulic cylinder tube undergoes comprehensive quality checks, including straightness, roundness, and dimensional accuracy verification, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with hydraulic systems.
  4. Cutting to Length – The hydraulic cylinder tubes are precisely cut to meet customer specifications, ensuring they are ready for direct application in hydraulic cylinders and industrial machinery.
  5. Packing – To prevent surface damage during transportation and handling, the hydraulic cylinder tubes are securely packaged, maintaining their precision and quality.
  6. Shipment – The finished hydraulic cylinder tubes are carefully prepared for delivery, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition and ready for use in hydraulic applications worldwide.

Our hydraulic cylinder tubes are engineered for high precision, excellent surface finish, and optimal straightness, making them ideal for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Manufactured from high-grade steel, they offer tight dimensional tolerances and a refined inner bore, ensuring smooth operation and extended service life in demanding industrial environments.
